Younger learners also took part in classroom activities where they expressed their understanding of stories through drawing and role-play. Additionally, students brought their favorite literary characters to life by dressing up, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected their connection to the world of books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also included a special visit from author Nahed Al Shawa, one of the leading writers in children\u2019s literature. She engaged with kindergarten and primary students through interactive sessions, sharing live story readings and insights into her writing journey, which contributed to enhancing students\u2019 imagination and expressive skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A number of publishing houses and cultural organizations also participated, including Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, Asfar Company, Kan Ya Ma Kan Company, Qisati Al Jameela Foundation, Alam Al Ma\u2019rifa Company, and Kutub Noon \u2013 Nahed Al Shawa Cultural Foundation, who enriched the experience through cultural initiatives, book distributions, and gifts, further strengthening students\u2019 connection to reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day was further highlighted by the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Reem bint Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, who shared reading moments with Kingdom Schools students, in an inspiring presence that reflects strong support for culture and reinforces the value of books in shaping future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative reflects Kingdom Schools\u2019 ongoing commitment to delivering holistic educational experiences that go beyond the classroom, contributing to the development of a generation of readers who are aware, creative, and capable of engaging with and building knowledge in alignment with lifelong learning values.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kingdom Schools activated World Book Day through a series of cultural and interactive activities aimed at fostering a love of reading among students and reinforcing the value of books as a key source of learning and awareness, within an educational environment that nurtures creativity and supports the development of linguistic and intellectual skills.
