An Educational Collaboration Enriching Students’ Experience at “Summer Wrth”
مقدمة
Kingdom Schools collaborated in the “Summer Wrth” programme, presented by the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth), as part of a partnership aimed at enriching students’ experiences and introducing them to Saudi traditional arts through educational and interactive activities that combine learning, creativity, and exploration.
Held over three days at Riyadh Park Mall, the programme offered students a variety of experiences, including pottery making and learning about traditional incense burners and doors, alongside colouring, construction, movement-based, and interactive activities. These hands-on experiences provided participants with an enjoyable opportunity to explore elements of Saudi heritage while stimulating their curiosity and developing their creative skills.
Students also embarked on an educational journey through the programme’s various stations. This interactive approach encouraged participation and learning while reinforcing the knowledge they gained about traditional arts and crafts.
Kingdom Schools’ collaboration in the “Summer Wrth” programme reflects its continued commitment to building meaningful educational and cultural partnerships and providing experiences that enrich students’ knowledge, develop their potential, and strengthen their connection to their national identity and cultural heritage.
Kingdom Schools believes in integrating learning with hands-on experiences and creating new opportunities for children to explore and be creative. This contributes to a lasting educational impact and deepens their appreciation of traditional arts as an integral part of the Kingdom’s culture and identity.
